Had a few bites on a panther marten but nothing serious. Saw some others around us pulling little guys out. Got to the dock and met a guy who caught a 6lb brown.

Nice day for the weather but slow on the fishing. Warmest water found was 45 degrees. No fish, no bites, but nice couple hours on the lake.

This was strictly a Reconnaissance trip to see if the lake had thawed out yet. The area around the public access and the south end of the lake has thawed but the rest remained frozen and unsafe.
