Tried South end yesterday for Burbot. Caught one sucker in about 75 ft of water. Saw one burbot caught about 10 inches. Ice was very thin near shore but quickly thickened to almost 9" a few feet out....

We left Spokane at 4 A.M and got to the launch at the south end of the lake at 5:55 A.M. It's not on any website, but the gates for the launch do not open until 6 A.M. Luckily we didn't leave earlier!...

sullivan was spotty,with some small Burbot and occasional 4# fish. foggy mornings 16 inch ice. caught about a 4 pounder, 29incher should yield some larger fish.....?
