Went fishing on the other side of the mountains. Hit up MarDon first to see what's biting in the area. I was told trout was the only thing really biting so decided to try corral lake. Got two stocker trout out of there really quick but then the rain came down hard and drove me out of there. As I was driving away it suddenly stopped raining so decided to try my luck with bluegill in one of the very productive warmwater species lakes. Caught the biggest one on my first cast. Then two more a few casts later and suddenly the rain came back with a vengeance and drove me out of there also. Ended up with two trout one perch and four bluegill. Not a bad day considering the weather kept me of the water longer then I was fishing.
