Hit the sky sun am, put the boat in at sultan and headed way up river to look around, only saw a few meter marks and was no fishable water . headed back down. dropped anchor across from the Wallace and was fishing eggs on a plunking rig while I set up a float and bam fish on, this thing did some big air and was pretty bright. after 10 min he spooled me. what a fight. then my buddys rod goes off and another big fight, we landed this one and it weighed in at just over 14 lb. first cast with my float nice 8 lb hen very bright. was amazed how bright these 2 fish were. for the next 6+ hrs we hooked fish after fish. most we got to net were brown and we released, I had epic battle 2 times with big chum , got to boat snapped pick and released,We respooled 3 different times fishing 15 and 17 lb line. we lost every float, jig, weight we had what a great day fishing We found a honey hole that was non stop fish.

nice! i have been dinking around hesitating to head up to Sky/Wallace today b/c of it being over 28,000cfps yesterday. Maybe i need to re-examine my options and get up there!

Thanks for the report, sounds like it was a really great day!

Word to the wise, please don't pose fish for a photograph holding them by the gills if you plan to subsequently release those fish. Incidental mortality rates are quite high for this type of fish handling.

Anything below 10k CFS is safe and fishable. It is at 7.5k now. Saturday will be perfect, Sunday even better.
