The water elevation is coming down a bit and thus we are starting to get a little flow and less surface area thus its becoming easier to locate and target concentrations of fish atleast of the trout variety. Fished the spokane again and found the action was even better than before. In short, caught a 5 fish trout limit in 7 minutes. Was debared so continued to sample the water hoping to catch a lingering koke. No such luck. Fished for 3.5 half hours, and quit counting after several dozen. Headed back to the barn around 3ish. Had success with trolling and casting. There a lot of plants all over the river this year and good action to be had for lots of individual or family fun.

Any hint as to where to fish in the arm? Never fished it before but having a real tough time finding fish elsewhere and sounds exellent in there...

Stealheader. Anywhere from Porcupine up or downstream. Try around points. Don't be afraid to make some swings in near shorlines and always look on the surface for fish jumping to try and see where schools are and then troll through them. Keep your gear high in the water column. Ie. first 15 feet. Good luck.
