Excuse the late report, but David Eriksen's big trout story brought back memories of a beautiful fall day on Angle Lake. I was bass fishing and throwing a white Power Grub along the pads on the west end of the lake. I had a hard strike and much to my surprise, I had hooked a 3 pound, 14 ounce, 22 inch rainbow. Moments later, I hooked another lunker of 3 pounds, 4 ounces, 20 1/2 inches. I then hooked a couple more large trout -- all on the white power grub. I assumed at the time that the WDFW had probably just planted a few brood stock into the lake. The bass fishing was slow but the big trout made my day. How do I remember all these details? I have kept a fishing log for many years. Good luck to you all. Bob J.
