Fished here for six days and caught plenty of fish, but there is an algae bloom on the lake. The ranger at the state park did not recommend that we eat any fish until the state finds out what the algae is. It's a blue green color and look's a lot like oil. I got tears in my eye's when my daughter caught a 22 inch trout off of the Pine Point Resort's dock and told her we had to let it go. It was the biggest fish she has ever caught! The trout came to trollers using pop gear and worms while on the docks and still fishers used power bait. Also caught plenty of small bass on spinner baits and plastic worms. For catch and release fishing it was fantastic.
