My best friend"wife" & I went to Kahlotus Lake to see what the water level was like. It was dry as a bone. I remember when I was a young man "25 years ago" living in Pasco, Jim-Bob told me about Kahlotus Lake. So we loaded up Ol' Tippie "my canoe" & checked it out. I have never caught more fish in my whole life. Crappie, Perch & Bass. The next time out Jim-Bob, myself, Maniac, EBDR, Combzy & I think Duval all had the time of our lives. We could go to Ol' Sullivan & catch fish until the cows came home too. Those days are gone. I wish the Fish & Game Dept. would select a few lake all around Washington & designate them to just Spiny Ray fish so we can take our kids & grand kids somewhere they can catch as many fish as they can. I can only hope.

No joke. They plant all these mushy trout that you cant even release after you catch them because they die, and they are hardly worth eating in my opinion. Why don't they leave the lakes alone? The spiney rays do fine on their own. If the game dept. would quit poisoning off the good lakes the fishing would go back to how it used to be. Why the hell do they poison our water in the first place? I know its a tree root and all, but the fact remains that the stuff they use to kill off so called "unwanted species" does not belong in the water where they use it. I really wish the game dept. would leave our lakes and fish alone. Let them play with the salmon and steelhead, but quit killing our native species.
