Started at daylight on the mouth of the Sanpoil. White hootchies with garlic corn and chrome flashers, 1.6 mph more or less, as the wind was gusting, and 55 ft. Seemed to be the magic depth (today)....

fished out of Lincoln all day. Had to work for the trout, but got 8 beauties--- trolled flies and spinners, 1.8-2.0 mph, 0-15 feet w DR. Mixed weather, but no crowds!
